Baker & Sons Safari Company warmly welcomes our guests from nations far and wide, to take in the full experience of a stay on the banks of the wild and beautiful Rufiji River, Tanzania. From the protection of our lodge balcony visitors enjoy hippopotamus bathing in the river beyond, colobus monkeys jumping in the canopy above and bush elephant crashing through the forest wall to say hello. Our neighbouring attraction, the Selous Game Reserve, is the treasure of the African continent; the oldest and largest animal sanctuary of its kind.
As a family owned and managed operation, we take pride in the product we offer and joy in sharing it with others. We understand the need for flexibility in travel, especially when traveling together with young and old. Within reason we will adjust to your schedule and unforeseen travel conflicts and interruptions.
We take a 30% Deposit Payment as security to reserve your stay and safari dates with us. The remainder we collect before or on arrival at our lodge upon check-in.
Our Cancellation Policy is as follows:
Outside 14 days of your reservation, we issue a full refund of your deposit payment, less bank charges. If you cancel between 8-14 days, we retain half of the security deposit and return the remainder less bank charges. Cancellations made 7 days or less of the arrival date and no-shows are subject to our retention of the full security deposit. Consideration is given for compassionate reasons and unavoidable circumstances, as well as effort to apprise us early of a potential conflict giving us time to make other arrangements.
Monies paid as a security deposit, upon cancellation, can be credited to an alternative date, less any non-refundable expenses incurred by the company.
Although every effort is made towards the safety and enjoyment of our guests, your stay with us and safari activities, including road/air/water transfers are done so at the discretion and risk assumed by the paying guest. Baker & Sons Safari Co Ltd and affiliated partners assume no liability for risk factors associated with African ‘safari’ activities, transfers, dietary restrictions and lodging near to the Selous Game Reserve, Tz (Nyerere National Park).
These Terms & Conditions are accepted and in-force, and your reservation is guaranteed, upon successful payment of the agreed Security Deposit Payment.
